Dark Horse A/V collaboration
August 9th, 2010Because “Dark horse” happens to be closest to hearts on Panda’s release monorail, we decided to invite a few artists we really love to submit a piece of the work that they felt visualised the song. we are really psyched to post the first piece, submitted by Gabrielle Bordello. thanks Miss Bordello ! we love it!

August 5th, 2010We did this video a stormy day…Kathy wasn’t able to sleep cause the rain, wind and storm(she’s living in a yurt in Charlotteville Virginia).
She skyped me and told me go on, let’s film ourself and record the song now.
This is the result, one shot early in the morning for Kat and lunchtime for me(I’m in Lyon-France).
I use an old Yamaha my friend gave me with a crappy rythm and box and organ sound..he found it in the garbage two days before..and I kind of like it.
Now we are together and watching the video we thought it will be interesting to post it like it is Ti Panda

Dark Horse is going to be in pictures
June 16th, 2010although each song panda transport creates is cherished and loved by us, we hold a special place for “dark horse” in our hearts. this summer we are celebrating it’s 4 minutes and 10 seconds by doing a video to be shot in lyon, france with our friend and director justin chinn (and editor at “grey’s anatomy”) who we did “saint’s revel” with in LA earlier this year. it’s going to be moody abstract spontaneous dark and lovely.
in addition, we have asked a few visual artists whose work we admire to create a piece inspired by the song. look forward to checking out their contributions through out the summer, right here on panda transport’s site.
we are extremely excited about both projects and equally filled with gratitude to be collaborating with such talented artists.

May 28th, 2010Working on a new Panda Transport song called Drunk in the Space…as usually we always have fun using toys or ethnic instruments even we don’t know how to play its..so, these times, I wanted to use a Quica but I don’t have a Quica..Kat suggest me to use the “Kella balloon” and put some soap and water on it…and it works…I mean ..for us ))))) Ti
